Expectations for Student Learning
Academic
We expect students to be able to:
1. Fulfill core course and state MCAS requirements;
2. Communicate effectively through writing and speech;
3. Read pragmatically;
4. Attain mastery of higher order thinking skills;
5. Employ available technology to enhance learning.
Social
We expect students to:
6. Demonstrate respect for themselves, their peers, the school community and its
property;
7. Display integrity in academics, athletics and extra-curricular activities.
Civic
We expect students to:
8. Explore their own ethical values and attitudes within a multicultural
society;
9. Engage themselves in civic affairs within the high school through activities
such as student government, elections and volunteerism.
