Guidance Notes

 

QUARTER-FINAL SCHEDULE   -  2007-2008 

 

First Quarter              Testing dates will be October 30, 2007  -  November 2, 2007

                                    Make-ups -Monday                                     November 5, 2007

 

Second Quarter          Testing dates will be January 15, 2008  –  January 17, 2008

                                    Make-ups-Monday                                     January 21, 2008                    

Third Quarter Testing dates will be April 1, 2008     –      April 4, 2008

                                    Make-ups-Monday                                       April 7, 2008

*These dates subject to change due to the Massachusetts Department of Education 

   scheduling of MCAS.

Fourth Quarter           Due to May-June MCAS exams, there will not be fourth quarter exams.

                                                QUARTER FINAL/EXAMS

Quarter-finals will be given within the last two weeks of each term.  Homework during quarter-finals will reflect on the material
 tested in the following day’s exam  and only one other subject.  Only students having an illness/medical excuse will be allowed to
 make up the quarter- final.  Unexcused absences will result in a test grade of zero.

Reports Cards:

 

First Quarter Report Cards will be distributed on Friday, November 9, 2006.  Thereafter, report cards will be distributed as follows:

            1^st Quarter – November 9, 2007

2^nd Quarter – January 25, 2008

            3^rd Quarter – April 11, 2008

            4^th Quarter – Last Day of School, 2008

Mid Quarter Reports will be distributed as follows:

            October 1, 2007

            December 10, 2007

            March 3, 2008

            May 12, 2008

Teacher In-service:

            October 25 & 26, 2007 also, March 20, 2008 Workshop on

There will be no school for students during Teacher In-service Monday

Regional High School Representatives News

 

A representative from Bristol County Agricultural High School will interview applicants on Tuesday, January 25, 2008.

 

A field trip to Diman Regional High School has been scheduled on Friday, January 11, 2008 for student applicants to Diman .
