• Science Fair

    Seventh grade students in Orange and Cobalt and Eighth Grade students taking algebra are required to complete a science fair project. Participation is optional for all other students. This year students will be able to choose a topic from any branch of science regadless of their grade level and current topic of study. Fields of research may include topics in earth science, astronomy, life and environmental science, and physical and chemical sciences. Students may also choose topics in behavioral and medical sciences as well as technology and engineering. Students will conduct their own research, design an experiment, collect and analyze data, and draw conclusions. The individual science teachers will choose students to participate in the school science fair. The science department will confer and choose up to ten participants to advance to the regional science fair held at Bristol Community College.
