Use the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) form to apply for financial aid for college or graduate school. Must be completed yearly in order to receive Federal Student Aid.
Needed to complete the FAFSA. An FSA ID is a username and password that gives you access to Federal Student Aid’s online systems and can serve as your legal signature. The student applying for college must have an FSA ID, and a parent/guardian must have an FSA ID for the FAFSA.
Needed only for some colleges in order to apply for Financial Aid; mainly for a number of private colleges/universities. This is separate and in addition to the FAFSA. Please follow the link to see which schools accept the CSS Profile.
