The Stephen Phillips Memorial Scholarship (posted 11/15/25)
The Stephen Phillips Memorial Scholarship Fund offers renewable, four-year scholarships to students with financial need who display academic achievement, a commitment to serving others, and a strong work ethic.

Swansea Fire Company 1 Scholarship (posted 02/17/26)
The Swansea Fire Company 1 Scholarship is available to any senior planning to attend an accredited college/university. You don't need to be a firefighter or related to a Swansea firefighter to be eligible for the $1,000.00 scholarship.

Paul Summers Memorial Athletic Scholarship (posted 02/18/26)
Paul was a graduate of Joseph Case High School (Class of 1961), where he played football, basketball, and baseball. He was elected to the initial class of the Case High Athletic Hall of Fame. He received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Rhode Island, where he played football and baseball. He holds the URI record in baseball for pitching a complete 14-inning victory over Springfield College in 1965.
Paul was a member of the Swansea American Legion Post 303 for over 50 years, where he served as Historian and Sergeant of Arms. He was a member of the Lance Corporal John J. Van Gyzen Marine Corps Post Detachment 1285, where he was the Librarian.

Stony Brook Camera Club (posted 02/18/26)
The Stony Brook Camera Club will award up to three scholarships of up to $500 each this year to deserving high school seniors who are planning to pursue photography or a related field through higher education.

The Massachusetts Broadcasters Association Scholarship (posted 02/18/26)
To apply for this scholarship, a student must be a Massachusetts resident with a declared major in a broadcast-related field and be enrolled or plan to enroll at an accredited two or four-year school.

Greater Southeastern Massachusetts Labor Council/AFL-CIO (posted 02/20/26)
The GSMLC gives out at least three $1,000 scholarships each year. These are available to high school seniors living in Southeastern Massachusetts, Cape Cod, and the Islands, and have a parent, legal guardian, aunt, uncle, or grandparent, or are themselves, a members of a labor union affiliated with the Greater Southeastern Massachusetts Labor Council. The most important element of the selection criteria is the essay, followed by the student’s grades.

The Massachusetts Shellfish Officers Association (posted 02/26/26)
The Massachusetts Shellfish Officers Association, a non-profit organization of municipal representatives, has established a financial assistance program. Senior High School students enrolled in a higher education Marine Biology program and that are residents of a city or town that sponsors a representative to the M.S.O.A. (see listing) are eligible to apply for an award.

The Joseph Case High School Drama Boosters Inc. Scholarship (posted 3/5/26)
The annual scholarship program is funded by drama boosters and is an open award presented to students who are graduating seniors. Awards will be presented at the Annual Drama Banquet.

Edward J Sullivan Scholarship (Citizens for Citizens)(posted 03/11/26)
Only high school seniors who are continuing their education in a four year college program, a two year program, or a two or four year program at an accredited technical school. The award is hat the student must have attended at least one (1) of CFC's child care programs (Early Head Start, Head Start, After School Child Care, Extended or Family Child Care).

Katie L. Fleet Memorial Scholarship (posted 03/11/26)
A senior pursuing their degree to become a Speech-Language Pathologist and or to work with children in the medical field.
The student must be in good standing and must have been accepted into a college or university enrolling in the Fall.
The student must have a commitment to academic achievement and volunteer work.
Special consideration will be given to a student with financial need.

One SouthCoast Chamber Scholarship (posted 03/11/2026)
One SouthCoast Chamber is pleased to announce that we are now accepting applications for our 2026 Scholarship Program.
Scholarships are available to: Graduating high school seniors and Students currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution
These awards reflect our commitment to strengthening our regional workforce and investing in the future of our SouthCoast community. Proceeds from our annual golf tournament and Celebrity Scholarship Dinner help fund some of these scholarships, in combination with the generous support of our members and sponsors.

Mark Gardiner Hoyle Memorial Scholarship (posted 03/12/26)
Student recipients of the scholarships are selected by a majority vote of the trustees who give special attention to those who have demonstrated good scholastic aptitude (but they need not be honor students), financial need, and involvement in the athletic program at JCHS. The recipient need not necessarily be a member of an athletic team but may be involved through lending assistance, being a student manager, or being a supporter of school activities.

The recipient(s) of $5,000 in scholarships, will be a female high school senior continuing their education to a 2 or 4-year accredited trade school, college, or university. Most importantly, the recipient(s) will demonstrate a true passion for life, family, community, and education just like Jennie. The application should include a 250-500 word essay that best describes themselves and why they’re worthy of this award.

The Billy Davock Scholarship (posted 03/19/26)
The recipient(s) of $5,000 in scholarships, will be a male high school senior with plans to continue on to a 2 or 4-year accredited trade school, college, or university. Most importantly, the recipient(s) will demonstrate a true zest for life and adventure, be an active member of their community, and provide examples of ways they have given back to those in need. Applicants should provide a 250-500 word essay that tells the story of why their life adventures, already experienced or to be experienced, big or small, are so vital to who they are and who they plan to become.
