Joseph Case Junior High School Building Project
Joseph Case Junior High School has been selected by the Massachusetts School Building Authority (MSBA) for a feasibility study. This important milestone is the first step in exploring potential improvements to our school facilities. The study will further assess the current condition of the building and consider various options to address the needs of our students and community. We are excited to partner with the MSBA in this process, ensuring that our school continues to provide a high-quality learning environment for years to come. On August 14th, 2025, the School Building Committee took an important step toward the future of Swansea by voting to support the design and engineering of a new Joseph Case Junior High School on the current High School campus. The new building will be located alongside the High School, creating a connected and unified campus for our students. This option not only represents the most cost-effective approach but also best supports our educational vision and plan. Below is a picture of the proposed site.
