Dear Swansea Elementary School Parents/Guardians,

We are proud to offer a Surround Care program open to ALL Elementary School children enrolled in Pre- K-5. Program hours are 7AM-8:30AM and 3:30PM-5:30PM. Please note that preschool students can only utilize the afternoon program due to the later start time.

Morning Surround Care is held at Luther and Gardner schools. Hoyle and Brown students will be brought by bus to Hoyle and Brown schools. Afternoon Surround Care is held at Hoyle and Gardner schools. Luther and Brown students will be brought by bus to Hoyle and Gardner schools.

Parents can choose from three options:

1. Before school care only, 7AM until school opening ($13.00 day/child)

2. After school care only, school dismissal until 5:30 pm ($13.00day/child)

3. Or, both before and after school care ($25.00 day/child)

**Enrollment is not assumed from year to year. You must register your child if you wish to utilize this program.

Surround Care will run 180 days that school is open. Surround care will not run during school vacations or holidays. There is NO Surround Care if there is a morning delay. 

Special half day Surround Care Programs during Parent/Teachers Conferences and Professional Development are separate programs and require a separate registration. Forms will be sent home with the children at the beginning of the school year for the special half days and are available below. 

This program is run in coordination with the schools but at no cost to the Swansea Public Schools. The program and employees are funded through fees paid by parents/guardians who choose to take advantage of these services.
