Transportation Notice for 2025-2026 School Year
Dear Parent / Guardian:
In May of 2025, all parents/guardians were asked to complete a survey to either request transportation or opt out of transportation for your student(s). If you did not complete this survey, or have not confirmed your choice with a school department employee over the summer, pleae contact Nicole Cabral at 508-675-7836.
If any of the following conditions apply, a Transportation Request Form needs to be filled out and submitted to the Transportation Department:
Students require transportation to a Swansea address that differs from a student's home address (i.e. babysitter's or grandparent's house)
Students were not previously transported by Swansea Public Schools (i.e. you opted out)
Students were transported to an alternate location last year but will be using the home address for this year
Home address changed since the last school year or at any time during this current school year
New or transferred students
Transportation Request Forms can be accessed on the District website (see below) or in each of the school offices.
Your cooperation is greatly appreciated and necessary for our Transportation Department to accurately assess the needs of the district and properly arrange routes and appropriate numbers of students on each bus/route.

Please note that routes for 2025-2026 are expected to change. Please check back in August for updated bus routes.
To ensure that your student does not miss the bus, please be at the stop for 10 minutes prior to, and wait up to 10 minutes after the published stop time for the first few weeks as ridership adjusts.
