Swansea Public Schools Partners with the Town of Swansea and Impact Melanoma to Promote Sun Safety
Swansea Public Schools is proud to announce a new partnership with the Town of Swansea and to support student health and wellness through increased sun safety awareness.
As part of this initiative, Swansea Public Schools has purchased sunscreen stations for each school building to provide students with access to sunscreen during the school day and outdoor activities. These stations will help encourage healthy sun protection habits and reduce the risk of skin damage caused by harmful UV exposure.
Skin cancer is one of the most common forms of cancer, and early prevention and education are essential. By working together with the Town of Swansea and Impact Melanoma, Swansea Public Schools is taking an important step in promoting lifelong healthy habits for our students and school community.
We are grateful for this collaborative effort and look forward to continuing to prioritize the health, safety, and well-being of all Swansea students.
