Transportation Notice for 2026-2027 School Year

Dear Swansea Families,

Welcome back to a new school year. Bus routes for the 2026-2027 school year have now been posted. Please note that not all new registrations have been added to the current routes. As we continue to enroll new students, the district will post updates to the bus routes by the beginning of next week.

Opt Out of Transportation

Please help us keep the bus rosters accurate! If your student will not be taking Swansea transportation to/from school, please use the transportation request form to opt out. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

Transportation Requests/Changes

If any of the following conditions apply, a Transportation Request Form needs to be filled out and submitted to the Transportation Department:

Students were not previously transported by Swansea Public Schools (i.e. you opted out)
Students require transportation to a Swansea address that differs from a student's home address (i.e. babysitter's or grandparent's house)
Students were transported to an alternate location last year but will be using the home address for this year
Home address changed since the last school year or at any time during this current school year
New or transferred students

Initial bus routes are linked below. Please check back for updates as additions and changes are finalized over the next week.

To ensure that your student does not miss the bus, please be at the stop 10 minutes prior to and wait up to 10 minutes after the published stop time for the first few weeks as ridership adjusts.
